Artistic Director Nam Jeong-ho presents her first new work after being appointed as artistic director of KNCDC. Nam deals with themes including confrontations and conflicts with others in our competitive society, taking a sharp look at our inner selves while stripping away the pretense. In this work, artistic director Nam intends to focus on the phenomenon in today's society and share contemporary senses with the audience.

This is not a game  stages a drama performed by 14 dancers. It portrays the stories of ordeals and competitions that individuals constantly face in their life and society. One inevitably needs to choose to be either an offender or a victim at the intersection of pain and joy. Nam reflects criticism of our society both pleasantly and seriously in a playful, sarcastic and allegorical manner.

It is the narrative that makes This is not a game  more fascinating. It functions as an important element that helps the audience to better understand the piece. While indulging in the performance as the story develops, you will find yourself connected to what the choreographer wants to say.
